Rebecca Bowler - Practice Manager

Rebecca grew up in Leicester and lives in Countesthorpe with her husband and 2 children.

For 15 years she worked in the Private Health Care Sector as a Human Resources Manager.

She graduated in 1996 with an Institute in Personal and Development Degree.

Rebecca joined the Practice in 2004 and is responsible for the day to day operation of the Practice, administration and financial aspects.

She enjoys running, cycling and reading.

Helen Bassnett - Assistant Practice Manager

Helen has worked at the practice since July 1999, starting on reception and moving roles first into the dispensary and then as IT Administrator for the practice before becoming Assistant Practice Manager in 2010. She enjoys a varied role working at both Market Bosworth and Newbold Verdon.

Venetia Gilbert- Patient Services Advisor & IT Lead

Medical Secretaries

Amy Powell is secretary to all the GPs at the practice and her role includes typing referral letters, undertaking Choose & Book bookings, Insurance reports and workflow.

Amy works at Newbold Verdon and has been at the practice since 1997.

Leah Harvey offers holiday cover for the medical secretary and is a GP Assistant.

Leah Harvey, Emma Henshaw and Ella Perkins undertake the scanning and workflow for the practice. They ensure letters from hospitals and other medical providers are scanned into patients' records.

Reception

Sally Alfrey is the senior receptionist. She has a team of 10 receptionists, Barbara Poole, Debbie Alway, Alisha Brookes, Ella Perkins, Leanne Ritchie, Venetia Gilbert, Sarah Peasgood, Sam Royce and Emma Henshaw.

Dispensary

The practice has seven staff who work in the dispensaries at both surgeries. Sally Alfrey, Venetia Gilbert and Clare Davenport mainly cover Newbold Verdon, Anne Hunter and Laura Orgill are based mainly at Market Bosworth. Julie Tomlinson and Hannah Thornton are Dispensers and Helen Bassnett offers holiday cover for the dispensaries at both sites.
